Cloud Matsuri Reminder

While lock down has impacted events for anime fans around the globe there is a good range of virtual events cropping up. Up this weekend is Cloud Matsuri. Set to run online from Saturday 30th to Sunday 31st May 2020, the event will play host to top Japanese industry figures along with UK based and US anime firms.

LATEST ANNOUNCEMENTS ROUNDUP
A quick roundup a few recent additions and confirmations to the lineup are below.

-- Manga Planet & Futekiya Panel, Sunday @ 4pm UK
This panel will be focusing on the digital manga platforms Manga Planet & Futekiya with Emma Hanashiro (Editor-in-Chief) and Gladys Angala (Producer).

-- Koei Tecmo Europe Presents Fairy Tail, Sunday @ 5pm UK
The new exclusive gameplay demonstration was previously announced to be happening but we can now confirm it's taking place at 5pm on Sunday.

-- Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris producer, Kosuke Futami, Sunday @ 8pm UK
This will be a panel speaking to the producer of the upcoming Bandai Namco Entertainment game.

-- Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme vs. Maxiboost ON producer, Akihito Chiba, Sunday @ 8:30pm UK
This will be a panel speaking to the producer of the upcoming Gundam Vs. game launching in July.

-- Anime Panel & Quiz, Sunday @ 2pm UK
This is a panel featuring 6 contributors: Stephanie Ijoma (@Nnesaga), Jay-Ann Lopez (@BLACKGIRLGAMERS), Tundun Folani (@Tudzdotexe), Timi Ofarn (@TheNerdCouncil_), Chris Abdullahi (@CallMePrime_) and WSTRN's Haile (@HaileWSTRN) coming to together to bring an anime themed panel plus a quiz to everyone!

-- All The Anime Panel, Saturday @ 2pm UK
This will be the panel hosted by Jeremy Graves and Andy Hanley to start the weekend.

Manga Entertainment will be drawing the winners of their charity raffle on Sunday 31st May live during the broadcast at 4:50pm (UK). For more details on this raffle, supporting NHS Charities Together.

-- Virtual Artist Alley
As part of our social media activities over the weekend, on our Instagram specifically, we're encouraging people to share their art so that it can be featured via our Instagram stories. We're asking people to post their art using the tag #CloudMatsuri and tagging in our @AllTheAnime account.
This is our way of being able to put a focus on wonderful artistry we encounter every time we exhibit at an event.

-- Cosplay Masquerade
Another part of Instagram specific activities over the weekend will be putting a focus on cosplayers. Similar to how we're handling the Artist Alley, we're encouraging people to share their photos of cosplay they would have been planning to wear at events this summer. Their photos may then be featured in our stories on Instagram. They need to post their photo including the tag #CloudMatsuri and tagging our @AllTheAnime instagram account to be considered!
