PiQ's July issue is to be its last release (it only managed four issues). It cites "a combination of low advertising revenue, poor business management, and a lack of proper marketing and promotion." as the decision to end the publication.

PiQ was billed as a replacement to NewType USA but turned off a lot of fans by diversifying its content far wider than just anime, manga and associated items. Now if only we could get NewType back.
