The Story:
The largest company in the world, Bookwald Industries has investments and interests spread far and wide in dizzying capacity. And with such breadth of scope comes great power and influence. Bookwald, wary of its deep roots in the war-torn Gazth-Sonika, has gone to great length to not only ensure survival, but perhaps something more devious as well. Only the company’s directors and secret operative Carrossea Doon seem to know the true nature of their intentions. But even that is mere speculation.

Vanessa Rene, a business-savvy brunette, is perhaps a bit too smart for her own good. Her intuitive suspicions have all too often been both correct and dangerous. Most recently, she has uncovered reasons to believe that her own place of employment, Bookwald Industries, is meddling in some adverse affairs. She has discovered links to the war in Gazth-Sonika in addition to the highly covert intelligence organisation know as Enfant. This time, she may have dug too deep. Madlax may be her only hope.

ADV FILMS ANNOUNCES FULL METAL PANIC? FUMOFFU: FULL METAL MANIA!

FINAL VOLUME FROM FULL METAL PANIC! SPIN-OFF STREETS 17th JULY 2006

LONDON, UK, 7th June 2006

ADV Films, the leading producer-distributor of anime in the U.K., is very pleased to announce that the final instalment of Full Metal Panic? FUMOFFU: Full Metal Mania!, is locked and loaded to hit store shelves on 17th July 2006.

Full Metal Panic? FUMOFFU is only the latest face of the Full Metal franchise, which includes the original prose novel, two successful manga series, and the first hit anime series ADV Films brought to the UK in 2003. But whereas the first Full Metal Panic anime series was a sci-fi drama with bits of comedy mixed in, this new series doesn’t even pretend to be serious! Featuring more explosions, more high school drama, and a batch of hilarious new characters, FUMOFFU really is a whole new Panic!

What the Press Said:
"... the funniest anime series in years!" CBBC eXtra

"... the gags work well... entertaining..." SFX Magazine

"... plenty of homages to other anime series ... should appeal greatly." NEO Magazine - Silver Award (January)

"...hits all the right buttons right from the start and just keeps going." AnimeonDVD.com

"... explosive and bursting with fun ... some of the scenes are absolutely priceless." Anime News Network

The Story:

Here it is: the full-on, all-out-crazy finale to Full Metal Panic? FUMOFFU! And it seems that EVERYONE has gone completely mad! First, a laugh-out-loud yakuza war brings gangster stereotypes to life, risks the lives of Kaname and Sousuke, and enlists an unlikely army of Bonta-kuns to save the day! Next, there’s a turf war on the school campus, and it’s nerd against nerd, in an ill-inspired contest to see which group of misfits can seduce the most girls! And finally, it’s scandal, scare, skin, and screamin’ hilarity - as a whole classroom of students discards common sense... just before they unwittingly discard their clothes! It’s a fitting finish to a frenzied frolic in full-metal frivolity - and you definitely don’t want to miss it!

ADV FILMS SETS RELEASE DATE FOR PEACEMAKER: PRELUDE TO BATTLE

BLOODY SAMURAI ACTION WITH THE SHINSENGUMI SLICES ITS WAY INTO STORES 17th JULY 2006

LONDON, UK, 7th June 2006

ADV Films, the leading producer-distributor of anime in the U.K., today formally announced a 17th JuIy 2006 street date for Peacemaker: Prelude To Battle, the penultimate chapter in the latest masterpiece from GONZO (Chrono Crusade, Hellsing, Full Metal Panic). Known for its winning combination of elegant design, serious adventure, and sharp comedy, Peacemaker was produced by the acclaimed GONZO Digimation, with character designs by noted craftsman Akemi Hayashi (Fruits Basket). The series follows the career of 15-year old Tetsunosuke Ichimura, who joins the elite Shinsengumi swordsmen after his parents were murdered by Choshu rebels.

Adapted from the popular manga, Peacemaker Kurogane, and declared by fans to hold the record of "most amount of blood from one sword slash," Peacemaker is set in 19th century Japan at the beginning of the Meiji period. Fans of samurai action and intrigue can enjoy a mix of merciless action and hilarious comedy, while world cinema fans know, after seeing Gohatto and When The Last Sword Is Drawn (two very different looks at the legendary Shinsengumi), that tragedy must loom further down the road.

The Story:

Spurred on by an acute desire for justice, the Shinsengumi prepare to smoke out their enemies. But playing with fire can get out of hand, and pyromania sets in on both sides. The conflict reaches a fever pitch as hands all-too-eager for battle stoke the flames of war. But not everyone is prepared to fight. Deeds from the past paralyze Yamanami, and lingering memories send Tetsu into a catatonic fit. The question must be answered now: will he become a demon and run with wolves?
