The National Gallery in London is to host a Japanese Film Festival (including Barefoot Gen) in aid of Japan Care for the Elderly from 15-17 April.

"Japan Care for the Elderly is a charity organisation founded to cater to the needs of the senior Japanese population living in the UK who are struggling to cope in old age.
The JCE is proud to present Strength From Adversity:
A Contemporary Japanese Cinema and Art Festival which aims to raise in order to enable the JCE to continue to provide a range of services and activities for the elderly."
The series will include Keiji Nakazawa's Barefoot Gen animated film (introduced by Helen McCarthy). The festival runs 15-17 April.
