London J-Pop fans should get out their Sailor Suits and Gakuran and head over to J-Pop Go this Saturday, where they'll be having a Japanese School Disco theme at the Cafe Manga Venue. The nice folk at ADV Films UK are sponsoring the events and as an appropriate tie in will be promoting Cromartie High School. The venue opens at 7pm and the party goes on to 1am. It sounds like fun and will certainly make a great anime weekend, with the London Anime Club the next day.

J-POP GO APRIL!

Continuing our residency at Cafe Manga, J-Pop Go will be staging a Japanese School Disco for our next event on Saturday 1st April sponsored by ADV Films.

With ADV's release of the anime version of Cromartie High School, we've decided to continue the school theme for the night - and cosplaying as your favourite anime/manga school character is heartily encouraged.

Expect an evening of fine tunes from our resident DJs DJ Kyukyusha, DJ Highpriest and DJ Voxie as they play a variety of top J-Pop and J-Rock tunes throughout the night.

SUPPORT ERGI!
The April event will also be supporting a good cause. Ergi - the drummer for UK J-Rock outfit Mika Bomb became dreadfuly ill in December of last year with suspected meningitis. He was rushed to intensive care and was very critical over the Christmas period. Since then, Ergi has pulled through, although it will take some time for him to recover from such a terrible trauma.

We're staging the April J-Pop Go as a fund-raiser for Ergi and his family, which includes a Prize Draw Raffle, so your generous support would be appreciated!

Drinks will also be at a reduced price for the night and we're hoping to have some cloakroom facilities as well.

Entry to J-Pop Go will cost just £4 (£3 reduced entry for cosplayers at our discretion). You can order tickets via the J-Pop Go website or at the door on the night. More details via www.jpopgo.co.uk
