Review

You Talk Too Much, So Just Shut It Already! Is a manga written by Shupei Morita and illustrated by Aldehyde. It charts the everyday adventures of Hiiragi, a deaf school girl who has just transferred to her new school. She is naturally anxious about her new environment until she meets Enomoto, who is over eager to help. He knows a tiny bit of sign language, but he believes he knows more than he does and thinks that through raw enthusiasm he can understand it all. This leads to comic misunderstandings and is the core theme to the manga. At times this is funny, but other times it comes across as just annoying. It walks the line between the two and doesn't always pull it off.

Enomoto constantly wants to help Hiiragi and naturally over the course of the manga they become friends. There are lots of silly bits in this title that are a bit ridiculous and it's the kind of thing only a manga with a comedic twist can get away with.

The character artwork is nicely done. It's drawn to a consistent standard, with some minimalist details in the background. It's effective, but nothing groundbreaking.

Aside from that it doesn't really have much depth. A bit more character development or at least a hint of something more complex would be nice. But then again, it's fine in a lightweight fluffy title.
