Black Jack Live-Action to be directed by Makoto Tezuka

According to Akadot the popular classic by the late Osamu Tezuka, Black Jack will become an animated movie and will be directed by Makoto Tezuka, Osamu's eldest son. The movie's release is scheduled for December 17th.

Makoto Tezuka took over directing the animated TV series of Black Jack since last October and singer Hiro's new release 'Clover' is to be Black Jack Ending theme song.

The Movie will be titled "Black Jack the two doctors of darkness" and the story is about the infamous protagonist Black Jack, an unlicensed genius surgeon whose service comes at impossibly high prices, and his rival Dr. Kiriko, who practices euthanasia rather thoughtlessly to end his patients' pain. The movie portrays the two doctors as they engage in a battle over life.
