UK Anime fans looking for a cinematic treat in November will be pleased to hear about Anime Limited's latest offering of Fireworks. Pitched as a coming of age story with a hint of sci-fi from the director of Nisekoi and Monogatari. It hits cinemas around the UK on Wednesday 15th November 2017.

ABOUT FIREWORKS

Synopsis: “Production studio Shaft (Madoka Magica, Monogatari) adapts and modernises Fireworks, Should We See It from the Side or the Bottom? – originally a TV special written by Shunji Iwai (The Case of Hana and Alice) – adding sci-fi elements to its tale of teenage life.School children Norimichi, Yuusuke, and Junichi want to know if fireworks look round or flat from the side. They make a plan to find the answer at a fireworks display, while classmate Nazuna schemes to run away with whoever wins a swimming race at the pool.”
