The movie follows the adventures of Kyuta an abandoned boy who stumbles into the mythical world of beasts where he meets Kumatetsu the brash warrior. Kumatetsu takes Kyuta under his wing (shouldn't that be paw?) and adventure ensues.

You may be familiar with director Mamoru Hosoda other works, which include Summer Wars, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and Wolf Children. We've seen this film and confirm if you like anything else by Hosoda you'll know exactly what to expect. You'll enjoy this!

It should be noted that Manga Entertainment UK have announced that they'll be releasing a premium Hosoda Collection of his other movies.
