We've just recived an exciting press release from Crunchyroll, who will be streaming Naruto Shippuden on-line an hour after Japanese broadcast. This sort of distribution model has been talked about for ages in the anime press, but until now it's never actually officially happened.
We say officially as in the past fansubbers did pride themselves on being the first to distribute a new show after original broadcast in Japan. Sometimes with a show appearing on-line an hour after Japanese broadcast, with a full fansub script appearing a few hours after (although speed does not equal quality in translation).
