Keiichi and Belldandy are now an established couple, but they are still getting to know each other. Does Keiichi dare introduce Belldandy to the N.I.T motor club? The vengeful Sayoko is also snooping around campus determined to snatch back her crown as campus queen. On top of all this, trouble is about to come in handy VHS format.....
The opening chapter of this volume of Oh My Goddess! is probably the funniest. The N.I.T motor club in their infinite wisdom " borrow" Keichiiís rent money by force, they then tell him they have arranged a job for him modelling for a life class so he can earn the money on behalf of the club to pay him back! The ever scheming Sayoko is of course involved, and itís up the Belldandy to find a way through the situation. Her reaction is typically over the top, and the after effects are sure to raise a smile at least.

The big event in this book is the introduction of Belldandyís older sister Urd. Urd is a self declared Goddess of love, and sheís made it her mission to force Keiichi and Belldandyís relationship to move on for the sake of her sisterís happiness. What she ends of doing is making Keiichiís life even more complicated, especially since her presence serves to irritate Sayako further.

Thankfully this volume Belldandy doesnít use her powers quite so much. Instead the story focuses more on the extended cast, the memorable characters are one of Oh My Goddessís strong points, and probably a big reason why the franchise has lasted so long. Itís just a bit of a shame that itís so episodic, mostly each chapter or two thereís a problem, some conflict or a misunderstanding ending in Keiichi and Belldandy realising how much they like each other.

Thankfully Titan are still printing excellent colour pages as well as a series of four panel gag comics centred around author Kosuke Fuhishima and his band of assistants. The cover this time features Urd, who is for some strange reason an off Bart Simpson yellow.

Oh my Goddess is as charming as ever, and the introduction of Urd certainly spices things up. Itís just a shame it slips so easily into such an episodic nature.
