"Anime Expo is pleased and honored to welcome CLAMP to the United States," said Anime Expo 2006 Vice Chair Liyin Liang. "We are so excited that they are joining our attendees and other special guests for our 15th Year Crystal Anniversary."

"CLAMP is one of the most acclaimed groups of artists in Japan," said Gen Fukunaga, President and CEO of FUNimation. "We are extremely excited to be working with everyone to bring their unique art to the United States."

The four women team of CLAMP Ė consisting of Satsuki Igarashi, Ageha Ohkawa, Tsubaki Nekoi and Mokona Ė made their debut in Japan in 1989 and have since become some of the most popular manga artists anywhere. They will also present a premiere screening of the Tsubasa anime series, based on the groupís latest manga, being published in America by Del Rey Manga.
