24th April 2006

Based on the hugely popular gaming franchise, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children is an epic animated adventure set against the backdrop of a world dominated by the corrupt Shinra Inc. This double disc DVD is available to buy on DVD and UMD Video and to rent on DVD from 24th April 2006, courtesy of Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children features the voice talents of Steve Burton (The Last Castle, Taken) as Cloud Rachael Leigh Cook (She's All That, Josie and the Pussycats) as Tifa, Mena Suvari (American Beauty, Rumor Has It) as Aerith. Set two years after the events of the Final Fantasy VII computer game, Cloud Strife, a former soldier for Shinra, now leads a solitary life travelling the Planet as a transporter, still burdened with emotional scars from his last battle. Weighed down by memories of loved ones he has lost, he is devoid of hope as he ventures to save the children struck down with the deadly disease Geostigma. We follow Cloud on his journey to uncover the truth about the origins of this plague. As destruction reigns in the city and our heroes are locked in battle, a familiar face returns – Sephiroth. Directed by acclaimed games impresario TETSUYA NOMURA, the visually stunning Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Double Disk Set includes a video compilation of scenes from the original Final Fantasy VII video game, The Making of Advent Children, and a Sneak Peak of upcoming Final Fantasy Games.
