PRESS RELEASE: DIGITAL MANGA TECHNIQUES FROM SWEATDROP STUDIOS

"Digital Manga Techniques" is a book which teaches you how to create superb-quality manga artwork using your computer. Written by Hayden Scott-Baron (aka Dock, the founder of Sweatdrop Studios) it features many illustrations and comics from the leading UK comic collaborative. Other Sweatdrop Artists featured prominently are Selina Dean, Emma Vieceli and Laura Watton.

The book is aimed at artists who already have basic knowledge of the manga art style, concentrating instead on developing your work into a finished product using digital techniques. It contains many tutorials including conceptual artwork and character design, specific techniques for popular software such as Adobe Photoshop, making your own screentone and effects, through to storyboarding and getting your manga ready for printing. For further information on this publication, please visit the Sweatdrop Studios website at www.sweatdrop.com to chat with the creators.
