New dating site for anime fans launches

There are tons of dating sites on the internet. Lots are even specialist dating sites by interest. So it should come as no surprise that the clever folks at Fan Crush have set up a dating site for otaku - Otaku Crush.

Fan Crush also have sites for fans of other things, such as Sci-Fi, Fantasy and Horror too.

The site is currently in beta and they're pitching as "the Premiere and First Internet Dating Network Dedicated to Uniting Anime Fans". The thing is we know they're not the first anime dating site.

We're not sure who can claim to be the first dating site for anime fans, as that could have come and gone during the dot com boom, but we do know of at least one other prominent dating site for otaku - otakubooty.com.

The key advantage for Fan Crush though is the price point. It's currently free.
