JAPANESE ART FESTIVAL WELCOMES HARAJUKU FASHION STORE AND KIMONO DESIGNER

Both exhibitors are exhibiting in the UK for the first time and will host talks and fashion shows as part of the event. Visitors can also look forward to a concert by reknowned shamisen player Hibiki!

The next Japanese Art Festival will take place on August 21st and 22nd. The festival has moved to a more central location this time – Conway Hall in Holborn, central London.

As usual, the festival will feature a busy schedule of traditional and modern activities, including martial arts, manga drawing classes, calligraphy, traditional music and Japanese food. There will be a cosplay masquerade on Saturday, and cosplay workshops both days of the festival.

J-Pop Go! will also host a party on the Saturday night of the festival at the Penderell’s Oak pub, including DJs and live music acts.

6% DOKIDOKI like to keep their finger on the pulse of Harajuku culture. The shop concept is "Sensational Kawaii", meaning shocking Kawaii, crazy Kawaii, more colours, more accessories and evolving their products together with Harajuku fashion.
