Grand Cosplay Ball 2009 Details

The good folks at the Grand Cosplay Ball have sent us the details for their 2009 event. It's set in the Clapham Grand in London. The special one evening event is set to run on Sunday 29th November 2009 from 7pm until 1am.

They've got a great line up of guests including cosplayer and Eurobeat singer Giorgia Vecchini, along with renowned cosplayer Yaya Han.

It's over 18's only, Tickets are £18. As always with these events we advise on booking early to avoid disappointment.

GRAND COSPLAY BALL ANOUNCES NEW BAND AND MYSTERY GUEST!

The Grand International Cosplay Ball has announced that world-famous cosplayer and Eurobeat singer Giorgia Vecchini will be joining Yaya Han as joint guest of honour at this yearís Grand International Cosplay Ball!

Hailing from Verona in Italy, Giorgia is best known for winning the 2005 World Cosplay Summit and as the official cosplayer for Winx Club. She is also a singer with Eurobeat label Go Goís Music.

Both Yaya and Giorgia will be signing autographs at Tokyo Toysí store in Londonís Picadilly Circus on Saturday, November 28th in preparation for the ball.

Also performing at the Grand Cosplay Ball are steampunk-inspired band Tough Love. Described as Ďthe afrobeat Scissor Sistersí, Tough Love have made a name for themselves on Londonís alternative dress-up scene, co-ordinating White Mischief, Londonís largest steampunk and Neo-Victorian club night.

Other entertainment on the night will include musical performances, an aerial act and a Fairytale-themed Lolita fashion show by Loligoth UK.

The Grand International Cosplay Ball is taking place at The Clapham Grand on Sunday, 29th November.
