Elfie - The Otaku News Mascot

Every anime website really needs a mascot. The Anime Web Turnpike started it all with Trixie, AnimeOnDVD.com has Divi-chan. We didn't really want to be any different so Otaku News has Elfie the green haired elf. She's not just any old elf! She knows the meaning of the word fanservice and isn't afraid to use it to her advantage! ^_-
As editor and webmaster for Otaku News I wanted a mascot that was distinct, but also suitable to Otaku News' slightly tongue-in-cheek attitude. I wanted something that looked good too, which was why recruited Gigi the talented up-and-coming artist working on projects like Silence, Frightmoore University, Magical Boys and Bridgette's Magic Unicorn.
Why is she called Elfie? Well she's an elf of course! Since she's our mascot she'll be all over this site. Hopefully she's caught your eye which is why you're reading this page now, either because of Gigi's amazing artwork or because you just like green haired elf girls!
