Manga UK DVD License Details for April 2012

The good folks from Manga Entertainment UK have sent us the details from their big licensing announcements at the Birmingham MCM Expo.

The big title in the line up is without doubt the highly anticipated Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Cosplay favourites Panty And Stocking With Garter Belt is dude for 2012 too. Along with Squid Girl which you may have caught on Crunchy Roll.

On Saturday 31st March at the Birmingham MCM Expo, Jerome Mazandarani (UK Head of Marketing) at Manga Entertainment UK was thrilled to announce an exciting roster of recent acquisitions, forthcoming home entertainment releases and the UK theatrical premiere of FMA Movie 2: Sacred Star of Milos!

Panty And Stocking With Garter Belt

UK street date TBC, but it will be in 2012. Unfortunately, there is no Blu-ray release scheduled

Okami-san And Her Seven Companions

12 x TV half hours
UK street date TBC, but pushing for end of year

Chaos Head

To be released 22nd October in UK on DVD only

Baka And Test Season 2

To be released 9th July on DVD only

FMA Movie 2: Sacred Star of Milos
Licensed from Funimation
UK theatrical premiere at BFI Anime Festival on 8th June. Special guest Q&A with the director Murata Kazuya and producer Masahiko Minami. Tickets go on sale on the BFI site soon. The movie will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on 3rd September. Manga will also be releasing a movie double pack on DVD and Blu-ray containing Conqueror of Shamballa and Sacred Star of Milos. This is the first time Shambala has been available on Blu-ray in the UK.
