Everyone's getting ready for the London MCM Expo this weekend (Friday 27th to Sunday 29th May 2011) at the ExCel Centre in London.

The good folks at Manga Entertainment UK have sent us details of their plans at the London Expo. They've got two stands, a treasure hunt, plenty of bargain priced DVDs and Blu-rays.

Voice actors Ben Diskin (voice of Sai in Naruto Shippuden and Syzal in Bleach) and Brian Beacock (voice of Walter Yumasaki in Durarara!!) will both be at a panel and QA at the London MCM Expo too.
Full Story
Press release as follows:

Manga Entertainment is thrilled to be participating in the May 2011 London MCM Expo, which is being held at the Excel centre from Friday 27th May till Sunday 29th May. It is Manga's 20th Anniversary this year and to ensure this Expo is the best yet, Manga have gone all out to celebrate their twenty years in the industry. As always, they will be making sure that your Bank Holiday weekend gets off to the best start with plenty of activity and excitement for fans to enjoy!

This year Manga will be hosting two stands inside the Expo Hall which are; The Manga Mega Booth (stand number 729) featuring the VIZ Media book shop, a Manga Cosplay Photo Booth, the Kaze Shop and Video On Demand display as well as the popular Shop Manga UK megastore, where you can pick up the best DVD's and Blu-ray's. The second booth will be the Manga Anime Sale (stand number 358) with DVD's from an unbelievable 1!

Manga are delighted to announce the attendance of some very special guests this year. Ben Diskin (voice of Sai in Naruto Shippuden and Syzal in Bleach) will be making his very first overseas con appearance as well as Brian Beacock (voice of Walter Yumasaki in Durarara!!) Both guests will be partaking in a panel and Q&A as well as a signing. Jerome Mazandarani will also be participating in the Anime Industry Panel at 12pm on the Saturday on the Comics Village Stage. An ideal chance to ask him about Manga's 20 years and any new acquisitions so make sure you don't miss this opportunity!

For the first time ever, a rather unique event will be occurring at the Expo. You can now take part in "The Great Otaku Treasure Hunt" courtesy of Manga Entertainment and Tecmo Koei. Taking part is simple and you will be able to pick up a treasure map from the MCM Expo Information Boot, Tecmo Koei Stand and the Manga Booths (729 & 358). Or if you are an early bird and pick up a Goodie Bag you will find your map in there. Alternatively, it will also be available to download from @MangaUK Twitter and the Manga UK Facebook page. The treasure hunt will involve following the map to find hidden QR codes from your smart phone. Follow the codes and unlock the clues and you will be in with a chance to win some very special Bleach prizes!

As you may already know, this year will see the release of two very special Manga titles; Akira will be re-released in its full HD glory and the popular Evangelion 2.22 You Can (Not) Advance will be finally unleashed onto fans! To mark these special titles, the first 6,000 early birds on Saturday will receive a free Akira and Evangelion 2.22 kurashi! Surely that is worth getting up early for!

If you are a Yu-Gi-Oh! fan then you will not be disappointed. Especially, if you hot-foot it over to the Konami Yu-Gi-Oh play area where you could be on the lucky few to get your hands on a free Yu-Gi-Oh! 3D: Bond Beyond Time movie poster. Don't forget the DVD and Blu-ray will be released in the UK on the 25th July this year in case you didn't have a chance to catch it at the cinema.

VIZ Media have joined forces with Manga again this year to ensure they bring you all their best Shonen Jump and Shojo Beat manga from 5 each including Bakuman. Death Note, Vampire Knight, Naruto and Bleach. Just follow the signs for the Manga Megastore!

Are you coming in Cosplay? Not ready for the Masquerade or you simply want to have a professional portrait to mark the occasion? Come and visit Paul and Deanne at the Manga Cosplay Photo Booth. You can have your photo taken for free and large photographic prints are also available to buy from Manga on the day. We are offering some very cool prizes to the Best Male, Best Female and Best Group Cosplay categories. Your photo will be published in Neo Magazine and you will win hundreds of pounds worth of Manga DVDs, Blu-rays and box sets plus assorted videogames from Ubisoft and manga from Viz Media. You really cannot miss out on this!

Kaze will be also be situated on the Manga Megastore Stand in their own dedicated area. Come and buy the latest officially licensed Shonen Jump merchandise including Naruto, Death Note and Bleach t-shirts, calenders, toys and collectables!

The wonderful Terratag have designed an exclusive Manga 20th Anniversary T-Shirt which will be sold exclusively at the Expo so make sure you get in early to avoid disappointment.

No visit to the Manga Megastore would be complete without being able to pick up a few bargains. Fans are in for a treat as this you will get the chance to pick up the early release of Eden Of the East: King Of Eden on DVD and Blu-ray which isn't out till the 6th June. You can also pick up Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood Volume 1 and 2 Blu-ray sets for only 10. DVD box sets will be available from only 5 and much, much more...!
