Keep an eye on our HYPER JAPAN 2011 event page for all the details.

Competition Winners
Congratulations to the winners of last month's Kanji Design competition: Angela, Jennifer, Judith and Scott. We hope you all like your new kanji names as composed by calligrapher Koichi Murai. Many thanks too to all the people who've filled in our survey 'What is HYPER JAPAN to you'. Your answers will help us make HYPER JAPAN 2011 more exciting! Did you also notice our giveaway campaign for Valentine's Day on Facebook? Congratulations to the winners: Nicco, Sandra, Claire, Sakae, Gayle, Eloise and Kevin. We hoped you liked your Valentine's chocolates. But.....feel free to pay us back, J-style, with a Sanbai-Gaeshi gift on White Day! Don't worry if you missed out we've got loads more giveaways planned so keep your eyes peeled.

Friday Focus Catch-up
We've had some interesting topics for Friday Focus this month and in January too. February kicked off with a Friday Focus that unveiled the history and truth of ninja and was followed by Katie Spicer telling us how Valentine's Day in Japan is unique. On the third week, Chris Kirkham introduced one of his favourite anime, 'Time of Eve', and Wataru Takaya also gave us his thoughts on this underground anime and some background on told what happened to the production team. We'd love your feedback on the articles so far, and suggestions for topics, too. You can comment at the end of each article, or let us know your feedback at press@hyperjapan.co.uk.
