Los Angeles, California anime fans who haven't already marked July 2nd to 5th 2009 on their calendars may really want to do so now. Anime Expo have anime director Seiji Mizushima as their official guest of honor.

SEIJI MIZUSHIMA, AS AN OFFICIAL 2009 GUEST OF HONOR

Famed Anime Director Returns to Nation's Largest Anime and Manga Convention

Anaheim, California (May 18, 2009) ‹ Highly revered anime director Mr. Seiji Mizushima is announced as an official Anime ExpoŽ 2009 Guest of Honor at the nation's largest anime and manga convention held July 2-5, 2009 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Mr. Mizushima returns to Anime ExpoŽ this year! A chance of a lifetime to meet the famed director who is currently working on the theatrical version of MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM 00 that is set for a 2010 release date. Mr. Mizushima has also worked on many amazing and recognizable titles such as APPLESEED:EX MACHINA, DAI-GUARD, FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST, FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST: THE MOVIE-CONQUEROR OF SHAMBALLA, GENERATOR GAWL, MADARA, MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM 00, NEON GENESIS EVANGELION, OH! EDO ROCKET, SHAMAN KING, SAION: I WISH YOU WERE HERE and many more! Mr. Mizushima last attended Anime ExpoŽ in 2006 in Anaheim, California.

Mr. Mizushima joins Daisuke Ishiwatari, Yosuke Kuroda, Toshimichi Mori, Morning Musume, Yasuhiro Nightow, Satoshi Nishimura and Kari Wahlgren as official Anime ExpoŽ 2009 Guests of Honor.
